FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER
OKELETSANG MOOKELETSI
Okeletsang Mookeletsi is a female director in the firm. She has a LLB degree obtained from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 2006 and she has an Advanced Certificate in Mediation and Arbitration (cum laude) from the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa obtained in 2013. She has obtained a certification in labour law practice from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2024.
Okeletsang is an astute attorney with 15 years experience in the following areas: Telecommunications, Technology, Petrochemicals, Employment law and Personal Injury. Affiliations include the Legal Practice Council, Africa Alpbach Network (affiliated with European Forum Alpbach), National Council of African Women (affiliated with the UN’s International Counsel of Women), the Mandela Washington
Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). She delivered a TEDx talk titled “the afrocentric algorithm of artificial intelligence.”
Okeletsang completed her articles at Mothle Jooma Sabdia Attorneys in Pretoria in January 2009. During that period, she was litigating and negotiating with the opposition to get the best value and outcome for client. She worked as a legal advisor at MTN Proprietary Limited dealing with various contracts including but not limited to procurement agreements, sponsorship and advertising agreements and sales agreements. She supported the marketing team by vetting all print, TV and website terms and conditions for products and competitions alike, she helped defend MTN at the Advertising Standards Authority and provided legal support during launching of campaigns.

Okeletsang proceeded to Nedbank Limited as an in-house legal counsel where she dealt with software, hardware, support and maintenance and licensing agreements, she concluded deals with the likes of Microsoft, Apple, Dimension Data and IBM. Thereafter, Okeletsang joined British Petroleum Southern Africa Proprietary Limited as legal counsel managing the portfolio comprising of Retail, Marine, Air BP and Marketing – she also dealt with mediations and arbitrations related thereto. Thereafter she joined Bagopa Holdings (Pty) Ltd – a community owned company whose principal business includes mining and farming. She joined SAS Institute to become head of legal for Africa specializing in analytics software agreements and closing numerous million dollar deals. She was Legal director for Sage South Africa Pty Ltd heading Africa, middle East and Asia Pacific. Okeletsang established this law firm in April 2017 and continues to provide sound legal advice to various clients.

SENIOR CONSULTANT
MAZWI CELE
Mazwi Cele is a Consultant in the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and LLB degree obtained from University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Mazwi also holds a Master of Laws degree which he obtained in 2018 from the University of Johannesburg.
He further holds a Certificate in Cyber Law obtained from the University of Witwatersrand’s Nelson Mandela Institute in 2017.
Mazwi is a solutions driven attorney with over 10 years’ experience in the following areas: Banking and Regulatory, Technology, General Commercial, Supply Chain, FMCG and Logistics.
Mazwi’s affiliations include the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and the Law Society of KwaZulu-Natal. Mazwi also sits on the Board of Sakha Isizwe Youth Development, which is an education focused NPO.
Mazwi completed his articles at the former Deneys Reitz Attorneys (now Norton Rose Fulbright) in January 2012. He has worked in various legal positions at South Africa’s top banks including First National Bank as a Legal Manager and at Nedbank as a Legal Advisor where he advised on strategic transactions for the companies.
He has negotiated against multinationals such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle and Accenture.
